Each year my father takes his grandchildren to a "fundraising" ball that is sponsered by the California Association to Aid Ukraine. The association chooses a worthy project to help the children in Ukraine. The "grandkids" especially love escorting their beloved grandfather to this annual event.

Santorini.....

We've just added a vibrant, delightful new collection from one of our favorite designers - Lila Tueller of Moda Fabrics. Lila's fabric is sure to brighten your world. My daughter sewed some cocktail napkins for a wedding gift for a customer. See photo below.

This collection was inspired by a tiny Greek Island in the Aegean Sea, rich with ripening olive groves and lush tropical gardens. The colors of this collection are warm, fresh and welcoming: just like the island sunsets, the coastal resorts, fabulous local fare, and the island people that greet you while you stay.

Autumn Has Arrived.......

Today I am dancing in celebration of my favorite time of year. Cooler nights and leaves slowly changing into brilliant hues of golden yellow, pumpkin orange, cranberry red and chestnut brown. The fig tree in my yard is aflutter with all the little birds feasting on the harvest of fruit. My front yard has two huge walnut trees that bring furry little grey squirrels franticly burying their treasures of nuts for the cold days that are coming. I delight in watching the transformation of summer into autumn.
